1. A Durable Backpack

A backpacking trip is incomplete without a backpack. So a good quality backpack is necessary as it will last for a long time. On a backpacking trip, always carry a topographic map and compass along with you. Nowadays Smartphone apps and GPS devices are of great help but they have a drawback of running out of battery. A backpacking guidebook can also be useful.

5. First Aid Kit

Basic first aid kit that includes savlon, plasters, bandaids, tweezers, scissors, thermometer, medications and anti-bacterial cream. You can also buy a first aid kit from the pharmacy.

6. Toiletries

Must have toiletries for a backpacking trip include wet wipes, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, shampoo & conditioner, sunscreen, lip balm, moisturizer, hand sanitizer, towel, thrash bag and mosquito repellant.

7. Electronics

These days carrying electronics on a backpacking trip is a must. A durable case must be kept with a backup torch. Smartphone, laptop, memory card, power bank, headlamp, headphones, camera, solar charger and travel adapter are some of the things that you can carry.
